Getting here
3 Baldwin Street, London EC1V 9NU. Old Street is the nearest Underground and rail station, a few minutes on foot. Buses along City Road stop close by.
— Terrace —
Craft beer, a roof terrace, real ales and Sunday roasts. Heated, covered, and planted.
— Relax —
The Old Fountain is a place to slow down: craft beer, real ale, and a terrace set with timber tables, benches and a good deal of greenery. It is covered and heated, so London weather is less of an excuse than usual.
When you book, tell us whether you want the terrace or a table inside the pub. The terrace closes at 10pm. We are in among the neighbours, so the later it gets, the quieter we keep it.
— The room —
Dark joinery, floorboards, globe lights and stained glass in red and gold. There is a green leather banquette along the open kitchen, stools at the bar, and smaller tables if you would rather be out of the weather entirely.
It is still a pub. You can come in for one drink and leave, or settle in for the long lunch. Staff will talk beer without making a performance of it.
